Fashion Front Row, Newcastle Fashion Week 2012
My finished accessories for my fashion show. Each piece is unique and lovingly hand made by myself. They can be worn as a belt, hair piece, necklace, bracelet..anything you fancy :}
For my show I used the one on the far left, securing it to a piece of lace trim to make a necklace. I styled it with my satin shirt dress with the lace trim, which shown in the Fashion Front Row, an event for Newcastle Fashion Week at As You Like It. The show was presented by Jane Middlemiss and featured other designers such as milliner The Libertarian, lingerie designer Tallulah Rose, Pixie Lott's fave jewellery brand Rock and Rose and of course, New Vestige, the name under which myself and two other designers showed under. Below are a couple of images from the show :}

Happy Easter :}
In proper Easter fashion me and my girls decided to go and party Easter bunny style. I made a pair of lace bunny ears using an old leotard, pipe cleaners and a hairband :)
Do this another 2 - 3 pipe cleaners depending upon how long you want your bunny ears to be.
Then, twist the ends of the separate pieces join to them all together.
Use a strip of cotton jersey approximately 2 - 3 inches wide, cut on the bias. Roll and stitch around the pipe cleaners to cover.
Repeat to create a pair and bend into the desired shape. I went for wider at the bottom and slightly pointed at the top.
Use the the outline of the covered pipe cleaners as a template. Lie them onto the leotard and cut the shape.
Starting from the top of the ears, roll the lace around the pipe cleaner and pin into place. Stitch to secure into place.
Take an old hairband and wrap the ears around, securing into place using a glue gun.
Finally, use the end of the sleeves from the leotard as gloves, cut a small hole in the side for your thumb.
